Report on the visit to CeBIT 2013

CeBIT is the undisputed leader in the group of the world IT industry, it is the largest exhibition, with the latest technology show, as well as a channel of information in different fields. Each year CeBIT selects official partner, this year, CeBIT chosen Poland. Like last year, the exhibition was opened by German Chancellor - Angela Merkel, as well as Polish Prime Minister - Donald Tusk. Presence of these famous politics shows the importance of the event at the world level.

Organizers of CeBIT 2013 have prepared interesting and rich program, which included seminars, round-table discussions and award ceremonies for the main achievements in the IT-industry. In addition to technological innovations, there were also presented IT solutions for business: CeBIT pro, CeBIT life, CeBIT gov, CeBIT lab.

Exhibition has impressed their participants by it's scale. The number of participants in 2013 was more than 400 000 exhibitors from 75 countries and more than 5,000 journalists reporting live from the center of the digital industry. Hanover, a small town with a population of 500 thousand people. During the show, he revived and expanded to 800 thousand. The auditory of visitors were developers, managers, project managers, experts in the field of telecommunications, journalists, and various bloggers.

Each year, every company has the opportunity to express themselves, show their place in the industry, showcase their services and projects. Traditionally, ISD Company is the guest of the exhibition. ISD is one of the few Ukrainian IT companies, who were represented there. Special attention on this event, ISD paid to its medical fields, as well as outsourcing. This year, ISD met with European partners as well as customers from Western Europe and the U.S.. This was a good opportunity not only to present new projects and plans, as well as to declare itself a wider audience. It may be noted that not only the Ukrainian outsourcing companies interested in foreign customers, and customers are interested in cooperation and working with our local specialists, specialists of ISD Company.

Prior to the implementation of Genetics Information Systems Suite, Mount Sinai did not have a computerized system for tracking and reporting its genetics results. Working with implementation team was great. The knowledgeable and experienced staff worked with us to implement the system at three hospitals in less than nine months, and allowed our lab to support The Methodist Hospital System’s strategic information technology initiatives.
